Peter6442peter Posted October 28, 2021 Report Posted October 28, 2021 Am trying to use the master playback as a up and down fader. Eg fade the light bup and down for a particular cue. In settings the htp master fades the lights down the triggers the next cue and fades the lights up. Fade 1 way triggers next cue down and next cue up. Fade 2 ways fades the cue but the go button doesn't work. Have rebooted desk several times but doesn't make any difference. Anyone have an answer to my problem Quote
Edward Z88 Posted October 29, 2021 Report Posted October 29, 2021 Hi Peter, When a playback's fader function is set the Manual Fade, rather than HTP Master, this means the playback's fader can be used to advance through your cues, rather than your go button. Before the last update I could fade without the cue changing and the go button changing the cue. Say for tab calls at the end of a show. Instead of programming 4 or 5 cues up and down. I have come to the last cue in the stack and then use the master fader to operate how many calls I need. Oh and the desk crashes so I have to reboot. Hope that all makes sense. If you would like to be able to lower a playback's fader, and remain in the current cue, you can use the default "HTP Master" Fader Function, but disable the "Release on Lower" option. To do this, hold SETUP and tap the playback's button to access the Playback Settings. From the top choose Raise & Lower, and then disable Release On Lower, and click OK. You can find the current software version by tapping the Z/Shift key, and choosing System Information from the touchscreen. In the window that opens will be a line of text displaying the "Software Version".
