AlexSky Posted October 13, 2020 Report Posted October 13, 2020 Hi everyone. After updating the ORB XF console, there were problems with displaying on the LSD 2x control wheels of any devices with several color values, gobo, etc. I had to roll back to 7.9.7, everything works there... Devices in which no values were displayed: Briteq BT-575S, Briteq BT-575W, Briteq Led Mega Beam, Briteq Led Pixel bar RGB. It is also unclear how in 7.9.8 to create a new device using Fixture Type Editor with a resolution of .zlbr Quote

I have patched a BriteQ BT-575S into Phantom ORB XF running ZerOS 7.9.8. Selecting the fixture and tapping COLOUR, shows me "Colour Wheel" and "Colour Wheel Mode" parameters on encoders 1 and 2. Tap BEAM, and gobo controls are shown on encoders 2 and 3, tap BEAM again and I can page through. What are you seeing when doing this? Are the encoders remaining blank (blue)? Is the "Intensity" display visible above the intensity wheel? Have you held SETUP and adjusted the LCD contrast? 16 hours ago, AlexSky said: It is also unclear how in 7.9.8 to create a new device using Fixture Type Editor with a resolution of .zlbr The Fixture Editor software still allows you to create fixtures in the .ift file format, which can be loaded into ZerOS 7.9.8. These custom fixture files will therefore be displayed in red in Add Fixtures and the Fixture Schedule, to indicate the fixtures are not from the library. If you would like fixtures adding to the library which are missing, please email the fixture's manual to us at fixturesupport@zero88.com, and we'll be able to get this added to the library for the next release. I hope this helps, if you have any questions let us know. Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support

Yes, I did so too, and in ORB XF encoders 2 and 3 remaining blank (blue), and "intensity" and 1 encoder, work. And in Phantom ORB XF everything works great. The contrast LSD checked all right. I also tried other fixtures.. also do not work on the console. Alexander Quote

If you use the physical encoders, do the values change on the external monitor? Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support

AlexSky Posted October 15, 2020 Author Report Posted October 15, 2020 As I understood on the ORB XF console in version 7.9.8. the LSD screen does not work, and in version 7.9.7 everything works perfectly. Quote

Thanks for all your information on this. We have found an issue that is affecting the encoder displays on some ORB series consoles. We will look to release a bug fix for this as soon as possible. When using our MAC 250s the DMX parameters for Pan & Tilt show up as 100000 values as opposed to 0-255 or 0-100%. Have you experienced this for any of your moving stock aswel, If so have you managed to get it to display the DMX value? Quote

el gordo Posted December 1, 2020 Report Posted December 1, 2020 Hi everyone, exact same issue here. Had a demo of a Chauvet Maverick Silens 2 Profile today and had to use the ZerOs app to see what I'm doing on the desks encoders. Quite annoying. I couldn't figure out a way to separately load the latest fixture library on version 7.9.7, since the Silens came out in september and isn't included in the 7.9.7 library. In 7.9.8 it is, so I switched back and hope for a bugfix update very soon. Quote

Caffrey Posted December 5, 2020 Report Posted December 5, 2020 I've just upgraded to 7.9.8 on my Leap Frog 48/96 and now can't use the Stairville MH-110 Wash 7x10 LED as the "Intensity" scroller is missing... I can pan and tilt; just can't turn the lights on I'm going live with our Christmas Panto rehearsals on Monday, so any news on 7.9.9? or should I downgrade back to 7.9.6 to get the fixture library back to a known state. By the way, the Stairville HL-x9 Quad is completely missing from the 7.9.8 update but was in the 7.9.6 so I've presumed that the HL-x18 has the same settings... Quote
