Tim James Posted December 17, 2019 Report Posted December 17, 2019 Hello, Apologies if this is a simple question. I'm trying to programme some LED PARs - I have 16 of them in a 4 x 4 array at the back of the stage. They're ADJ TriPAR Profile plus if that's relevant. I've programmed in a simple colour change effect on one of the playbacks (submaster) so that the fader controls the overall intensity of the pars and when I hit the 'go' button for that playback it fades into a new colour. I had a lot of frustration sorting that out but I think I have it sorted now. The fader controls the intensity, and the go button changes the colour using the fade time in the cue stack.. 8 of the 16 PARs form a nice 'arch' and so I want to bring up a second fader which will just control these 8 - so that, if, say, the 16 lights are on red, but the arch is on blue, those 8 light gradually fade from red to blue as I bring up the second fader. I'd like to be able to take the first fader down and just leave the arch on, or vice versa. I've been messing about with HTP and LTP and also fiddling with the colour fade / fader controls colour etc and getting nowhere. It seems to work for a while and then the colours either 'snap' without fading or they don't change at all. If you could let me know what I'm doing wrong I'd be grateful! It's a standard Solution running 7.9.2 Thanks Tim Quote

ZerOS 7.9.6 can be downloaded from our website below... https://zero88.com/zeros#download Also available from the link are release notes, detailing the installation instructions. 8 hours ago, Tim James said: 8 of the 16 PARs form a nice 'arch' and so I want to bring up a second fader which will just control these 8 - so that, if, say, the 16 lights are on red, but the arch is on blue, those 8 light gradually fade from red to blue as I bring up the second fader. HTP/LTP options are Intensity Mixing options, and will therefore not affect the way colour is mixed. From your description, I would recommend enabling fader controls colour on the second playback, and leaving the first playback in its default settings. You will then be able to push your first playback up, and have all LEDs on and in your programmed colours. You can then raise your second playback, and the colour will be controlled by the fader from the current colour to the second playback's colour. If you then play another colour from the first playback, this will override the second playback, as this then becomes the latest command to be sent to the fixtures. You therefore may find it useful to have 2 playbacks of colour states, one for the arch LEDs and the other for the remaining LEDs. Hope this helps and achieves what you're after.
