Question about ethernet on FLX

Hi,

I actually have a FLX S48 2U and i will purchase a FLX this year.

As the FLX (and also the S48) as only one ethernet connexion, i'd like to know if there is a way to do the following :

- Add a Node (an Netron Obsidian EN4) to extend universes
- AND add a router to have access to my tablet

The problem is in the question : only one ethernet connexion on the console.

It's a standard ethernet port so you can use a standard ethernet switch as you would with a computer network. (I'm guessing it's 100Mb/s not Gigabit).

Also worth noting that ZerOS uses "virtual NICs" (NIC = "network interface card") rather than needing multiple ethernet ports - so the single Ethernet port can have multiple IP addresses on multiple Subnets. ZerOS generally associates the IP settings to each protocol/feature, rather than to each physical NIC.

Yes, just tested this afternoon. It works great.

I'm doing a lot of different things in our venue (all the tasks i should say) as many of members i guess ^^ It's not easy to have time to dig deep in all manual (sound, light, video devices, etc.).

So thanks again For the tips ! The workflow will be much more fluid now.
