The manual doesn't actually mention date & time adjustment but if you go to setup ->settings

I think you should be able to correct the system date and time.

My first thought was that you need to replace the battery but the thread FLX48S Battery has a  post from @Edward Z88 explicitly stating that FLX S does NOT have a battery so it isn't that

Oh yes it does! But it’s automatically hidden if you’re filtering by a “FLX S” variant:  https://www.zero88.com/manuals/zeros/setup/settings

“All ZerOS consoles except FLX S have an internal clock. Press the Date & Time button on the monitor to open the Set Date and Time window. Enter the correct time, day, month and year in the fields provided and then confirm by selecting the OK button. This setting is especially important when using Real Time cue triggers.”

Originally I was but then I used search.

So does that mean FLX S users need to set date and time whenever the desk is turned on?

I’ll need to look at this on Monday, as I thought it should be 1 January 1970 - but it might be you’re operating system knowing that can’t be true.

The filtering remains when using the search.

No, the setting doesn’t exist on FLX S

I'm not sure that's my experience, and it's annoying - I want to find something on FLX and I get pages of answers for Solution.

Search is still largely unusable. For example, given a word like "Remove" it should prioritise returning results for the command rather than giving back 10 pages of stuff that has "remove" (not the command) in the text.

This setting is available for FLX - but unfortunately not FLX S...

How to set date and time with FLX S?

To be clear, FLX S consoles do not have an internal date/time clock. Therefore files saved from FLX S will appear to have erroneous dates/times when viewed in Windows File Explorer for example.

If you would like to keep track of when your show file was saved, you can of course add the current date/time to the end of the file name.

Just for my technical undersanding:
why not?

I assume, that FLX S has a
or even the same computer inside like the FLX (?)
too.

Hi @discover

FLX S consoles do not have an internal battery, which means there's no way of keeping time. FLX consoles do have an internal battery.

FLX S consoles have a different processor to FLX consoles.

Hope this helps.
