Techie_v2 Posted February 4, 2023 Report Posted February 4, 2023 Hi people, Just running thoughts over in my head for a programming session tomorrow. If I had a set of fixtures on a set colour, next cue start rainbow effect, random offset, then next cue, stop the effect, the lights should stay on the last colours of the effect? Am I correct? Thanks Quote
Jon Hole Posted February 4, 2023 Report Posted February 4, 2023 If you stop the effect, no - they’ll go to the colour the parameters are set to. If you want to achieve what you describe, in the cue you just need to set the effect speed to “0” Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
Techie_v2 Posted February 4, 2023 Author Report Posted February 4, 2023 Thanks Jon, then set the fixtures to "no effect" in a later cue when I want to change colours? Quote
Jon Hole Posted February 5, 2023 Report Posted February 5, 2023 Yes. If you want something less permeant (eg you want to do it temporarily for a cue and then restart the effect straight after) changing size to “0” also works. Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
Techie_v2 Posted February 6, 2023 Author Report Posted February 6, 2023 Thanks Jon, that's also useful to know Quote
