Holger Posted April 21, 2022 Report Posted April 21, 2022 (edited) I starterd the ZerOS-7.11.exe on my PC, USB stick was formatted and files were copied to it. Everything seems to be fine in the process. Then I plugged off the FLX S24, entered the USB stick at the back ("behind" the touch panel) and plugged in the board. It started, but there was no new version installed. Attached you will find the system info of the board. What can I do? What is wrong? Edited April 21, 2022 by Edward Z88 Quote
Davidmk Posted April 21, 2022 Report Posted April 21, 2022 Reading through the steps you say you took I think you may have missed something. The steps (from the release notes here) are... Consoles running ZerOS 7.8.3 or later. To perform the update: - Download the software from the Zero 88 website ( zero88.com/zeros ) - Unzip the download and save the .exe file onto a USB stick (don’t put it inside any folders) - Plug the USB stick into your console- Press SETUP to enter the console’s setup screen and choose “Load” on the monitor - Select the file from the list displayed on screen and follow the onscreen instructions - Once the update is complete, remove the USB Memory Stick and reboot the desk 1 Quote
Edward Z88 Posted April 21, 2022 Report Posted April 21, 2022 Hi @Holger Thank you for providing an image of your console's System Information. I have removed this image to hide your serial number. 2 hours ago, Holger said: I starterd the ZerOS-7.11.exe on my PC As your console is currently running ZerOS 7.9.4, please follow the instructions in @Davidmk's post above, for "Consoles running ZerOS 7.8.3 or later"... 26 minutes ago, Davidmk said: To perform the update: - Download the software from the Zero 88 website ( zero88.com/zeros ) - Save the .exe file onto a USB stick (don’t put it inside any folders) - Plug the USB stick into your console- Press SETUP to enter the console’s setup screen and choose “Load” on the monitor - Select the file from the list displayed on screen and follow the onscreen instructions - Once the update is complete, remove the USB Memory Stick and reboot the desk See the link below for more information... https://zero88.com/manuals/print?manual=zeros&type=section&content=zeros-software Hope this helps. Holger Posted April 21, 2022 Author Report Posted April 21, 2022 Thanks! it worked! The problem was I thought I have OS version 7.8.1.2 which means to take the other part of the installation guide, the older one.... Quote

I have made a note. Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
Holger Posted April 21, 2022 Author Report Posted April 21, 2022 It would help, too, if this would be described in the installation instruction ... Quote
