Best Cat patch cable for flx to laptop ?

Hi, just wondering what the best Cat patch cable is for connecting flx to laptop ( I am currently using a cat 5 cable). I noticed when looking to get a new one that there are Cat cables of 6, 7 and 8 etc.

Hi Rob,

CAT5e cabling will be ample for use with FLX S consoles.

You can of course use a higher category, but this will provide little benefit when used on very small networks, such as simply connecting FLX S to a laptop.
