martin-144
Sorry, quick and urgent question: How can I make a color to snap on a fader (fader only controls intensity, but color should be the same from the beginning)? I am sure I asked that question before but I don't remember the solution and I couldn't find any related topic. I am still on ZerOS 7.9.7, only for a small event I didn't yet want to upgrade and lose patch. Thanks for a quick reply, Martin

Ensure the Colour fade time is 0 ? Assuming that is on a fader in Playback mode. I'm sure that's not the question or the answer you're meaning as I'm sure you'd know this! martin-144
That was my first Idea. Where can I find fade times for faders? It's not the Go button, there it would be obvious.
kgallen
In the Cue window for that Playback - the columns there. I MUST be misunderstanding your question!!!
martin-144
Either I can make the color fade with the fader movement or have a fade time of 3~5 seconds. But where can I adjust this?
martin-144
Kevin, you mean this? I placed it randomly on playback 7. There is only one cue at this fader.
kgallen
The fade time for that arrtibute is set in the cue. As long as the trigger point is not too high (it defaults to 5% I think) then if the Cue colour time is 0 then the colour should snap as you move the fader from 0. I'm assuming you have a fixture with colour programmed into a cue on a playback, and maybe that cue is the only one on that playback - so raise the fader, cue 1 is triggered? Maybe you need to turn off Release on Lower for that playback if your colour is going back to Default?
kgallen
View+Playback button 7 to see the cue stack for PB7. I still MUST be misunderstanding your Q!
martin-144
Ok I got it. Thanks for bringing long forgotten things to my mind. Corona thank you 😍 You can bring up the cue stack of a fader by pressing <view> and the button under the fader. Thanks Kevin
kgallen
Phew! 😀 Tell you what - I'm gonna be the same for sure...!
martin-144
Thanks Kevin again, I was in kind of a remote-support situation, which makes it even harder. I can feel the pain of you and the Zero88 people having to do this. Thank you all 😀 Martin

Thank you all 😀 No problem I just happened to be online before I went out for our panto rehearsal! (No lights yet, still in the rehearsal room.)
