Gul
Hi, i'm facing an issue i dont understand: using FLXS48 i'm recording several cues for a theater show (with tungsten and led fixtures: MARTIN RUSH2 and ETC LUSTR+), on general playback, using fade times. the trouble is when the LUSTR fixtures comes with different colors between 2 cues, i cant get the right color fade time, it happens "cut" : the new color comes at the very beginning of the transfer. it only comes with color fade time if intensity changes... that doesnt happens with the RUSH PAR! I would say, some parameters in LUSTR are responsible of that, but i cant figure out what it is. Or, did i miss something in the record parameters of my cues?? i hope i am clear. thanks for your help!
kgallen
Have you got the colour fade time at 0s (snap) on those cues that aren't intensity fading? Attach your showfile here.
Edward Z88
Hi @Gul Welcome to the Zero 88 Forum. 11 hours ago, Gul said: the trouble is when the LUSTR fixtures comes with different colors between 2 cues, i cant get the right color fade time, it happens "cut" : the new color comes at the very beginning of the transfer. Can you confirm that "Fader Controls Colour" is disabled for this playback? To ensure it is, hold SETUP and tap your playback's button. From the settings ensure the "Colour" button has a blue stripe under "Fader Controls..." and click OK. If this option is enabled, fade times will not be used for colour transitions. This would not explain why your Martin fixtures were fading correctly, but worth checking this setting anyway. 11 hours ago, Gul said: I would say, some parameters in LUSTR are responsible of that, but i cant figure out what it is. As @kgallen says, please attach a copy of your show file, and describe which fixtures and cues you are seeing the issue with. We'll then be able to investigate. Gul
Well, thanks a lot guys! @Edward Z88, you were totally right, i didn't disabled "fader color control" in master playback ! i did in general setup, but had no effect. what i don't understand is why is this option "ignore" by default? more useful when disabled, isn't it? By the way thanks for fast answering, and perfect efficiency! I'm beginning with FLX 48S and even if there is still some dark point, i start appreciating it! thanks again! see ya🤠

Fader Controls Colour should be disabled by default.
