Salander
Hi, How I can connect a screen on my FLX S24? I've not a "video DVI D" on my desk control. Just ethernet, XLR and USB. Thank for your help
kgallen
FLX S24 doesn't have a monitor port to attach an external screen directly. However you can use the Monitor App - I've seen that noted on a similar thread. Here:
Salander
Thanks Kgallen, but the link can't work.... I'm going to look on the website
Edward Z88
Hi Salander, As Kevin mentions, there is no external monitor output on FLX S24 consoles. For information on how you can use the ZerOS Monitor apps as a touchscreen, see below... http://support.zero88.com/997472681 If you have any questions let us know. Davidmk
I have an FLX (with monitor port) but I've dumped my monitor in favour of a tablet. Being smaller is easier to carry to a gig and it works just as well. Android is fine, I've tried that. iPad is available but I've settled on a re-furbished Windows tablet with a docking station so I can use wired network (with or without a router) and I can run other software (like the fixture definition editor) without carrying a laptop. I can also use a mouse if I want, saves reaching over the desk to touch the screen.

I reckon a lot of users have started to do this - it makes FLX even more portable! 22 minutes ago, Davidmk said: but I've settled on a re-furbished Windows tablet with a docking station so I can use wired network (with or without a router) and I can run other software (like the fixture definition editor) without carrying a laptop. I guess this also allows you to use a Bluetooth keyboard with the Windows tablet too, to give you access to the new keyboard shortcuts? The KVM didn't seem to like the desk so I have another keyboard for that. Living room table, lock down lighting
kgallen
FLX with Wing in a flight case - cute! Standard flight case (looks like a Swan) or custom? Definitely interested to hear about your tablet setup.

Definitely interested to hear about your tablet setup. Yep, bought a Swan FLX+wing case, made a dog box, re-arranged the foam quite a bit, added a handle on one end and wheels on the other. I described the tablet set up in some detail in the FLX topic "Tablette wifi ou par cable?". I'm sure there must be a better way to link to it but I don't know it.
