Hello,

there is a Theater, Between Metz and Nancy, that having LeapFrog 48/96. So someone I know must be doing light on this theater but he doesn't know ZerOS and Zero88 light devices.

So if he had window computer, is it possible for him to to training on Window computer to understand ZerOS, and perhaps having possibility to recording thing, If he can doing things without emulation.. (he will not have money to buy "Capture"...)

So I Downloaded LeapFrog manual. So I see many things that looking like FLX. (and some other différents... evolutions....)

So I can also having a little training with FLX, for the commun things between the Two consoles ...

Thank for your help

Have a nice Monday,

Hi Eric,

Yes, Leapfrog 96 consoles also run ZerOS, and are currently still supported with the latest software. Therefore if they are running ZerOS 7.9.7 on their Leapfrog 96, there will be many similarities between your FLX also running ZerOS 7.9.7.

Yes that is correct, in Phantom ZerOS, you will be able to choose the “Solution XL” desk type from the drop down menu on the launcher. Solution XL and Leapfrog 96 consoles operate identically. You can then connect Phantom to our demo version of Capture if you wish, to practice using the console...

Thank Edward,

I will speak with this guy to giving him this information.

I see some different between the two consoles that is not very important for his show, it's number of Cue 999 on Leap Frog and 10.000 on solution...

SO If using ZerOS Phantom he can recording the Show on USB key (in solution XL standard) and all we be OK ?

I think that a good idea to know which ZerOS version this theater use for the LeapFrog... to be OK for recording things on window and having no problems on LeapFrog...

Thank Edward

The total number of cues across every ZerOS console, including Leapfrogs, is 10,000.

Yes that is correct. You can program a show on Phantom ZerOS running as Solution XL, and you will be able to load the show file into a Leapfrog 96.

Good to know that update for LeapFrog can giving 10.000 cues.

If users haven't do update, it's perhaps a good moment to do it...

Eric, I can move between Leapfrog 48 and PhantomZeros in "Solution (& Leapfrog 48)" mode without issue, running current 7.9.7. It does give me a warning that the saved file I am loading was recorded on a Leapfrog (or a Solution) and some data may not be loaded, however it seems it does load ok.

It is also possible to load the sample Capture program called Dockhouse.exe (the showfile is Dockhouse FLX CITP.jsf) that is visually almost fully controllable from the phantom although a few fixtures don't make it into Solution mode. I own a single Universe capture license but unfortunately universe 1 in the demo file is just the backcloth!

Yes that is correct. As Solution XL and Leap Frog 96 consoles are different console types, ZerOS will give you a warning. However as Leapfrog 96 and Solution XL operate in the same way, you will not lose any show data.

The Dockhouse Capture project file (Project.zip) is available to download from the article below...

You will then be able to open this in your licensed version of Capture. On universe 1 in the demo file you will have 10 Clay Paky A.leda Wash K20 moving washes rigged above the stage, and 8 ADB ALC4 LED cyc lights.

I had seen that article but hadn't specifically tried the S version, thanks for the tip.
