Thanks for the swift replies...

Edward, the link you provided doesn't seem to help... Shift +F10 has no response when  using phantom ZerOS with the FLX sim?

Ollie - interested how you get on. I bought Capture (at great expense) a fair few months back, but to date haven't had the guts to try and connect it to FLX... (desk or Phantom).

Hi Olly,

SHIFT + F10 is the keyboard shortcut for the SETUP key. This will work if your active window is the LCD or External Monitor windows. To make them active click in the Windows, or close and reopen the window from the Phantom launcher.

Hope this helps,

Edward

ah ok. In that case, on the FLX sim there is no "visualiser" option. I have already enabled remote apps in devices (is this required) and selected the 127.0.0.1 IP option.

It may be worth noting that i am using a works PC and i am unable to re allocate the machines IP

You won't need to change any IPs if you are controlling Capture from Phantom on the same PC, as you will; simply need the PCs loopback IP of 127.0.0.1.

I actually had it working quite successfully with the physical console. However in that case it was on an isolated network. We have a separate network setup in the venue for remote control of the FLX and X32 consoles, which allows me more control over the IP allocations.

Right... found a setting under the "universes" tab of setup that allows me to alter the IP for CITP. this works with the Dockhouse demo, but not when im creating a new project... is there a specific setting in capture that i might be missing?

ok, so by loading capture before zeros, and then toggling between the PC ip and the 127.0.0.1 ip on the universes section of the FLX phantoOS, i get control...

not sure why the toggle between ip's is needed. but in this case it works.

Hi Olly,

I have updated the guide as per Phantom ZerOS 7.9.7, as the CITP option is now under Universes rather than Visualisation.

You should find if you start Capture with Phantom's CITP IP of 127.0.0.1 chosen, Capture detects the CITP protocol. Toggling from and then back to the 127.0.0.1 will prompt Capture to detect this IP.
