Carpo Posted November 16, 2019 Report Posted November 16, 2019 Last night I was trying to make a simple one step cue with 3 different fixtures but the recorded cue was not workning. The cue is in the cue window and there is one line (green) when I start the cue - but with no values in the line. I think the normal is 1.0 in the fade collum and can´t remember what else there normally are. What im I doing wrong? What setting is making my life hard. I hope I´ll be up and running again tonight 😉 Quote Carsten Poulsen Carpo Roadshow www.carpo.dk
Edward Z88 Posted November 16, 2019 Report Posted November 16, 2019 Hi Carsten, If fade times aren’t displayed, it means there isn’t data recorded in the cue for that attribute. Therefore if no fades are present, nothing has been recorded in the cue. How did you record the cue? Was the cue created from using other playbacks, or using programmer data? If recording other playbacks into a new playback, you’ll need to make sure SmartTag is enabled. Press and hold RECORD to open the Record Options window to access the SmartTag option. Hope this helps, Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
Carpo Posted November 17, 2019 Author Report Posted November 17, 2019 Yes, it was SmartTag I had problems with - SmartTag is not that "smart" for me - but I know 😉 The way to get up and running the way I needed was to go to "Setup/Settings" and change the "Tracking options" to "Cue Only" under "Record & update". Thank you for help and fast support. Quote Carsten Poulsen Carpo Roadshow www.carpo.dk
Edward Z88 Posted November 17, 2019 Report Posted November 17, 2019 Hi Carsten, 9 minutes ago, Carpo said: The way to get up and running the way I needed was to go to "Setup/Settings" and change the "Tracking options" to "Cue Only" under "Record & update". Turning the console into global Cue Only mode, forces SmartTag and Cue Only on, and hides most of the settings in the record options window. This therefore will give you the same effect as turning SmartTag back on from the record options window, when the console has tracking enabled. The downside of putting the console in global Cue Only mode is you can’t access the more advanced settings in the record options window. Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
