I've been suffering with this bug in Phantom ZerOS for a while now where the labels of buttons on the front panel window don't show. For example (on the Solution): 5f28723c41.png

However in Phantom Jester the labels appear fine:

You can see that some labels appear fine (the ones on the buttons) on desks like the Orb: 3a5a076f8d.png

However the "background image" (ie. the lines on the desk behind the faders) are still missing.

I've also tried uninstalling & updating to the latest version of ZerOS (v7.9.6) which didn't seem to help.

Any ideas? Thanks!

Hello,

Phantom ZerOS will mimic the physical console. Therefore if there aren't button labels on the physical console, they won't be shown on Phantom.

You can however hover over a button, and in the Window header next to "Front Panel", the button name will be shown.

Hope this helps,

Edward

Hello,

Apologies, by button labels, I mean writing on the physical console buttons, not next to them.

Phantom ZerOS currently doesn’t display front panel markings.

This is something we may look to add in a future software update.

If you have any questions let us know.

This would be really useful as it's pretty hard to figure out what the buttons are on-the-fly. A background image in the window which has all the same labels as the desk (as opposed to rendering each label individually) would be fine.

Nah, I don't see "GO" on Phantom but I do on the desk button! 😋

Fair point, not sure why that’s not labelled, will look into that. Hopefully that button is obvious enough to not need a label 😉

It's just taken me half an hour to find the "Home" button (on a Leapfrog 48). It's mentioned in the user guide but not shown anywhere in the user guide. Or in Phantom ZeroOS.  Why aren't these things labelled? What's the big secret???
