I have had a play with my new FLX S48 and managed to add a couple of wrong fixtures. I want to remove them but read on this forum that I have to reset the desk to factory setings. Will this delete the fixture library as well or am I safe to reset and start again?

Alternatively if there is a way to delete added fixtures please let me know

Do you really need to delete them? Have you patched them to channels? In which case just unpatch them.

So it depends what you mean by 'delete' them.

If you really want to remove any trace of them from the desk then use Clear User or Factory Reset. Reset Desk won't remove user fixtures.

I'll try unpatching them. Quick read of manual required

Basically I have entered two wrong fixtures on the way to finding the correct one so these dont control anything. They are channels 1 & 2 so I want to put other fixtures on these channels so I have everything in a logical order.

Hi Bramblefly,

I'm assuming you mean you've just added them from the built-in library (via "Add Fixtures")?

To remove these, just go to SETUP (so you're viewing the "Fixture Schedule") and then either:

1) Select the DMX address of one of the fixtures you want to remove, and in the popup window click "Delete Fixture"

2) Select the two fixtures you want to delete (using the channel buttons) so you don't see any other fixtures listed within the Fixture Schedule and then press they physical DELETE button on the console

Hope this helps,
