Iron Lighting Posted April 29, 2019 Report Posted April 29, 2019 (edited) Hello, I have a FLX S24 1U - but I have a problem on several devices: STAIRVILLE CLB4 ( https://images.static-thomann.de/pics/atg/atgdata/document/misc/298052_c_298052_v2_r4_fr_online.pdf ) in 14-channel mode: 1- RED1 2- GREEN1 3- BLUE1 4- RED2 5- GREEN2 6- BLUE2 7- RED3 8- GREEN3 9- BLUE3 10- RED4 11- GREEN4 12- BLUE4 13- STROB 14- DIMMER But I do not think how to create VIRTUAL DIMMER - and after how to use them? I would need 4 VIRTUAL DIMMER : DIMLED1 / DIMLED2 / DIMLED3 / DIMLED4 I have the same problem with STAIRVILLE SHOW BAR TRI LED (54 CH) Because there is only RGB and no dimmer Thank you Edited April 29, 2019 by Jon Hole Please don't use all caps for thread titles Quote
Jon Hole Posted April 29, 2019 Report Posted April 29, 2019 You don't need a Virtual Dimmer on this fixture, as Channel 14 is the Dimmer channel Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
Iron Lighting Posted April 29, 2019 Author Report Posted April 29, 2019 yes but it is easier to do dimmer effects with several DIM. and for the colors I have to select each channel 1 by 1 to change my colors. because it is possible to put only 1 RED, 1 GREEN, 1 BLUE. I can not use the automatic color palette. and for show bar sorting LED, so I can not do Dimmers effect Quote
Edward Z88 Posted April 29, 2019 Report Posted April 29, 2019 Hello, For easy access and control for each set of RGB pixels within the fixture, I would recommend patching each RGB pixel as a separate fixture in the console. Therefore for the CLB4 you describe, patch 3 generic RGB LED Units for the first three pixels per unit. You’ll then need to create a fixture file for the last pixel, that will also control master strobe and dimming. This would therefore have... Red Green Blue Strobe Dimmer When you select all 4 pixels per unit, you’ll then be able to apply effects, and fan colour across the pixels in the unit. You also have the ability to record groups, so that you can control the fixture as a single unit if you wish. Hope this helps, if you have any queries let me know. Iron Lighting Posted April 29, 2019 Author Report Posted April 29, 2019 Okay, I understand your explanation. however it is unfortunate that it is not possible to create virtual dimmers. More and more hardware is based on this type of architecture. R / G / B / R / G / B / R / G / B / R / G / B .... Maybe an idea for a future update. and the possibility to have several RED, several GREEN, several BLUE .... to use the color palette more easily And a last idea of updating - The ability to adjust the light intensity of the buttons LEDs - and USB Power Intensity - to Manage the Light Instance of a USB console Lamp Quote

The second won't happen because they are standard USB ports that provide +5V, not dedicated console lamp ports. Any dimming function would have to be provided by the console lamp itself. Quote
Iron Lighting Posted April 29, 2019 Author Report Posted April 29, 2019 Okay, well I may find other ideas soon. In all the size of the console is very apreciable, and seems good quality, well done Quote
Edward Z88 Posted April 29, 2019 Report Posted April 29, 2019 Hello, Thank you for your comments. In a future software update, ZerOS will support multi-cell fixtures, to allow for multiple pixels of RGB to applied to the colour picker and effects engine. Iron Lighting Posted April 30, 2019 Author Report Posted April 30, 2019 Ok good 😊 If I may allow myself a last remark. I find the Phantom ZEROS software very useful for the creation of show. But the graphic quality is not very good. maybe an update in this way will be interesting. with why not an HD display of the console (the use of 1920 x 1080 resolution) Thank you Quote
Edward Z88 Posted April 30, 2019 Report Posted April 30, 2019 Hello, Phantom ZerOS is certainly an area we're looking to improve in future updates, including introducing more keyboard shortcuts. The next ZerOS update (v7.9.5) will bring a couple of minor user interface changes to Phantom ZerOS. All the best, Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
