Multiple playbacks control same RGB fixtures

JR Light

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have a FLX S48 and some times I have just some RGB LED fixtures to control.
I have created some playbacks (cue lists and chases) to control the fixtures.

But when I pull down the fader for the playback which is running to 50% for example and turn another playback up, there is a hard change that the fixtures are controlled by the new playback.

I would like that if the first playback is setting the fixtures at green and the second playback will turn red on, I would expect that the led fixture will turn yellow.
Now there is a hard jump from green to red.

How can I solve this?

Best regards,

Jeroen

Hi Jeroen,

A good solution for this would be to allow the fader to control the colour transition. To do this, go into the settings of your second playback. To do this hold SETUP and tap the playback’s button. Then, under Fader Controls, select Colour, so it has a red stripe next to it. Then click OK, and you’ll now find that raising this fader scales colour into the recorded value. For more information on this, take a look at the article below...

Hope this helps, if you have any queries let me know.
