thierry Posted March 12, 2019 Report Posted March 12, 2019 Hello, I have many cues with 4 Robin Robe (different positions, effects, focuses, ...) I would like to have a "dark state" during transitions between these cues in a playback, i think it should be the job of the "move on dark" (or something else...) option but i don't know how to manage it . Any idea ? Quote
kgallen Posted March 12, 2019 Report Posted March 12, 2019 The "old style" approach before desks had MOD functionality is to have a "mark" cue (usually a point-5 cue number) between existing cues, to reposition the fixture. For MOD to work on ZerOS, the fixture needs to have a programmed intensity=0 in a cue in which the move will happen. Quote
thierry Posted March 12, 2019 Author Report Posted March 12, 2019 Sorry, i was wrong, nothing to do with the "MOD" option. I've read the page 75 of the manual and i understand now what it means . I just want to have a full black between cues, i don't want the intensity to raise, i want CUE1(position, effect, intensity level x) then BLACK before CUE2(position,effect,intensity level x). I just want to see my moving heads moving from CUE1 to CUE2 in dark an then... FULL CUE2 Is it possible, or do i need to record cues with the intensity appart ? Quote
Edward Z88 Posted March 12, 2019 Report Posted March 12, 2019 Hello, This would be something the fixture would have to manage. Some fixtures have the ability to be told to be dark whilst moving. I believe most Robin fixtures have this functionality, you would have to check in their Function/Control parameter. If they don't, then you will have to insert a cue between 1 and 2 with the fixture off, that allows for Move On Dark to prep them for you. You can then automate cue 2 if you wish, so that it automatically follows on once they are in position. Hope this helps, if you have any queries let me know. thierry Posted March 12, 2019 Author Report Posted March 12, 2019 Okay, so it's about the device's functionality... I will have a look at the manual if the ROBE Robin600e is doing the job or not Thanks for all Quote
