Moving Groups on FLX S24?

Recommended Posts

Have been adding some new fixtures to my console and also removing other fixtures. This has messed my Groups window a bit up - is there an easy way to relocate groups or do I have to adding them by myself at the "right" location?

Have also been adding effects to some faders - how can I remove the white color from the fixtures when I only activate the effect fader?

There isn’t a dedicated Move/ Copy function on FLX S consoles - copying groups is something you can do on FLX. Therefore your best bet is ensure there are no fixtures selected, select your group, tap RECORD, and choose your new location. Then Delete the group from the old location.

If you find they fade from white to the recorded colour, this is due to the cue colour fade. You can edit this by holding VIEW and tap the playback’s button, and then select the colour fade and adjust to 0 seconds using the encoder wheels.

If you wish to remove all colour data from the playback, raise the playback, select the fixtures, hold CLEAR and tap the colour tab, so that the colour parameters become tagged (alternatively jog one of the colour encoder wheels to tag them). Then hold UPDATE and deselect SmartTag, choose Remove, and then tap the playback’ button to complete the update. This is then going to remove any tagged information from the playback.

Hope this helps, any queries let me know.
