ikopesorda Posted November 30, 2018 Report Posted November 30, 2018 After update iOS app on iphone 8, app doesn't work. iOS app 3.1 was work perfect ...... I'am using FROG 2 console updated on 7.8.2.39...... Quote
Jon Hole Posted December 3, 2018 Report Posted December 3, 2018 Hi ikopesorda, The latest apps need ZerOS 7.9.4 or later to run successfully. I've updated the Promotional Text on the App Store to reflect this more clearly. Apple allow you to reload an old version of an App by using iTunes. Please take a look at this link. Around half way down, there's a heading "What if the new version of the app is compatible with your device but, you still want to use the older version?" - hopefully this will be what you need. https://www.igeeksblog.com/how-to-re-install-older-version-of-apps-on-iphone-ipad/ Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
ikopesorda Posted December 4, 2018 Author Report Posted December 4, 2018 hi, Thanks for the answer. Can I install 7.9.4. on Frog 2 ? I don't have old version zeros remote.... Quote
kgallen Posted December 4, 2018 Report Posted December 4, 2018 Unfortunately you can't upgrade to 7.9.4 on Frog2 hardware 😞 The last supported ZerOS for Frog2 is 7.8.2.39 (as you have). http://support.zero88.com/Legacy-products/Legacy-Consoles/Legacy-ZerOS/975204871/FROG2.htm This means you'll have to stick with an older ZerOS remote. Maybe Jon or Edward can help with which version and provide a pointer to that version... Quote
pierotec Posted December 22, 2018 Report Posted December 22, 2018 Hi, as I wrote also on another post, I think the current remote app should be able to be set to work with the old consoles while maintaining the old features. otherwise changing smartphone we can no longer take advantage of the remote app on our consoles. Edward Z88 Posted December 22, 2018 Report Posted December 22, 2018 Hello, It is only software older than ZerOS 7.9.4 that is not compatible with the latest app. This is due to the way ZerOS is now sending image data to the app. You therefore may have to use one device running the old app for FROG2, and a different device running the new app for other ZerOS consoles. NickTaylor Posted January 2, 2019 Report Posted January 2, 2019 I came across this issue yesterday. I suppose the other answer is to keep an older phone as a remote and somehow stop it doing updates? Quote
Edward Z88 Posted January 2, 2019 Report Posted January 2, 2019 Hi Nick, Yes that’s correct, you could have a separate device running the older version of the app compatible with ZerOS 7.8.2.39. Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
