Probleme with CHAUVET Intimidator Wave

I have trouble setting my intimidator wave chauvet: look picture

It consists of 5 RGBW heads and I can't get the "color picker" and the "tilt grid" for each head

When I declare the fixture in fixture type editor it is not possible to put 5 Tilts or 5 reds positives.

I would like to have the same functions as 5 lyres for 1 fixture with 5 heads

thanks for your advices

You'll need to patch this unit as 5 separate fixtures. If the unit has "common" channels, you'll need one fixture definition for that bit, then a fixture definition for the "repeated" part that is applied 5 times.

This allows you to do things like P/T fans and colour sweeps across the unit as a whole.

Have a search of the FLX forum, Jon and Edward have covered this approach several times to similar questions on multi-part units.

It's something that is due to change in a future software release - but don't wait on this coming!

Hello,
I took the time and here is the best result I have:
I created
-5 RGBW spot fixtures,
-5 TILT fixtures,
-1 Dimmer fixture and
-1 Fixture Strob
For have the pan / tilt grid I had to create a pan on a virtual channel.

I still have 2 worries:
-The tilt reverse function does not work, is it due to the virtual pan?
-how to drive tilts with the faders (knowing that I created a fixture with 1 single TILT channel and 1 virtual PAN)

thaks for your help

Hello,

Having had a look at this fixture profile, as the parameter types are grouped together rather than parameters per head, it will be very hard to gain full control of each head.

What do you mean by "Tilt Reverse Function"?

To control Tilt using playback faders, dial your tilt parameter to 255, tap RECORD, and then tap an empty playback fader. Then hold SETUP + tap your tilt playback's button, and choose "fader controls Position" and click OK. This playback will then scale Tilt from its current fixture parameter value to full using LTP mixing. If you wish to have full tilt range control, you will have to therefore manually set tilt to 0, record this as a separate playback or palette, and then you will be able to use your tilt playback to scale the tilt from 0-255. This is due to Tilt defaulting to 127 as standard.

Hope that helps and makes sense. If you have any queries do let me know.

1:What do you mean by "Tilt Reverse Function"? when you press "setup(fixture schedule)" and select "tilt" fixture; you can inverse tilt for do an "miror effect"

2:I would like to drive the tilt with the fader in the channel page; I tried to create fixture with only 1 dimmer with the address of the tilt; it works but the master fader also makes me move my head and I do not have the menu "PAN / TILT grid"

thanks ans sorry for my poor english
