hello, I have a flxs48 for 2 weeks (new)

are there people with the following disruptions ?

After a power outage, restart the table up to 3 times before working (logo zero stays on the screen)

already have to set the table twice to factory settings because faders no longer respond in playback mode

3 movingheads suddenly stop responding to a particular playback...

all fixtures normally react with my 10 year old martin light jockey with the same dmx addresses

RigSync = Disabled..

Hello,

We have not come across any of these issues before. Could you confirm the software version running on your FLX S48? You can find out by tapping Z/Shift -> System Information, it should be either 7.9.4 or 7.9.4.3

1- When the FLX S48 boots correctly do you receive any errors? If you tap Z/Shift -> System Information -> System Text, are there any errors reported?

2- Is it only the faders that stop responding? Is it only when in playbacks? If the faders stop in both channels and playbacks tap Z/Shift -> System Information -> Event Monitor, are there any values displayed when you move the faders?

3- Does it seem the playback has stopped working? Are you sure it is triggered? Does power cycling solve the issue?

I would recommend going back to the Zero 88 distributor you bought the console from and report these issues, and they’ll be able to arrange repairing or replacing.

Any queries let me know.

Hi

I have managed to reproduce a part of the problem :

The version of the table is 7.9.4

power cyclig solve the issues.

I think i have to bring the table back because the table does not work reliably for a live show...

This was just a small test setup for the video, last week I had a live show where several Playbacks did not react anymore. after start-up the playbacks reacted back to normal...

Hello,

After changing the fader function to Manual Fade 1 way, raising it triggers the playback, however lowering the playback fader will not release the playback, as after lowering the fader the next time you raise it you will fade into the next cue. Therefore after you have triggered playback 3 in your example, it hasn’t released, and therefore all other faders are purely controlling intensity, as playback 3 is still controlling the fixture’s colour. A way around this is to then manually release a playback, which is done by holding CLEAR and tapping a playback’s button. You can manually release all playbacks except the master by holding a CLEAR and tapping the Fader Funtion button.

What is the reason you would like to use Manual Fade for these playbacks? This is most commonly done for cue stacks.

Hope this helps,

Edward
