ZeuS Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 Hi, How can i delete a profile from the desk? I just improve one of the arri skypanel mode 1 profile from the latest fixture definition file upload to the desk and now have 3 of them instead of one with the same name. So I just want to get rid of the old ones. Thank you Quote
kgallen Posted July 13, 2018 Report Posted July 13, 2018 It's a problem I have too and I don't have a good answer, other than putting some kind of version number in the profile name (say v1,v2,v3 etc) on the end so you can find the "old" ones. Then really all you can do is reassign the fixture then do this: I've requested an enhancement to support this requirement sometime in the past. Quote
mikeb Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 The only way I know of would be to factory reset the console and reload your custom fixtures - not an ideal way but it works Regards Quote
Edward Z88 Posted August 15, 2018 Report Posted August 15, 2018 Hi Mike, We have logged "ZOS-8734" on our software tracker, which should improve loading in files and avoiding duplicates. Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
scottydog75 Posted January 13, 2019 Report Posted January 13, 2019 Hi Edward, I too am in a similar situation to ZeuS - with duplicates of fixture files I have modified to suit my preference. Has the feature to delete single fixture files been implemented yet, or can we expect it in ZerOS 7.9.5? Many thanks, Alex Quote

This is definitely something we’re still looking into, that we’ll include when we make big changes to the Fixture Library. Currently your best bet is to make sure you use a numbering system on custom fixtures, to avoid duplicate names. All the best, Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
