louiemiro
Hi folks. I've just picked up a 2nd hand Jester. I'm a newbie to Jesters, and indeed a newbie to lighting controllers generally. It was sold to me as needing a new memory battery. I replaced this. The channels were not set to the corresponding DMX addresses. Instead: DMX 1 = Ch 1 DMX 2 = CH 1 DMX 3 = Ch 1 etc ALL DMX's = Ch1. So... I re-patched as per the manual (I thought). I unplugged. Next day the clock and date all good, but when I plugged back in I notice all DMX's again = Ch 1. It Hadn't saved. Must I press another button other than "OK" to get the re-patched DMX's to save properly... or....?? Help please. Thanks
louiemiro
Ok. Scratch that. Just reset the desk and it seems happy. Job done. methinks. Thanks y'all.
louiemiro
UNscratch that! Next morning.... plug in again, and All patch memories are gone, and we're back to all DMX's = Ch1 plus Err 03 when starting up. Pressing enter happily gets rid of that, and repatchng is fairly easy, but a pain to have to do every time. What am I doing wrong?? Any help welcomed
Jon Hole
Error 003 suggests the battery is still not happy. Try reseating the battery, or trying a different one. After doing this, ensure you do a reset of the console.
