Hello

I bought an flx 24 - 512 yesterday. Its got 7.9.2 software on it. I tried to update to the latest software. Downloaded the usb maker made the bootable stick with 2 different usb stick. It said i just have to plug in to the closest usb to the ethernet and power it up. When i do that nothing happening just boots up normaly.

What am i doing wrong?

Thank you

That is the legacy method. All you need to do now is copy the install file to the root of your usb stick.boot up you desk, Plug you stick into the desk and select [setup] [load file] then choose the instal file. From here you can probably follow the instructions on the desk.

Hope this helps

Hi Daniel,

Yes Derek is correct, copy the unzipped .exe to the root of a USB stick, plug into the FLX S, and tap SETUP -> Load File, and load in the file. The software update will begin. The process you describe is the old way of performing software updates.

Hope that helps, any queries let me know.

Hi,

I also tried the old Method today, but haven't had a internet connection at the venue. Now, at home, I read this entry. So for the newest Version I have to load the "ZerOS OS Creator USB - v7.9.4 9-3-2018 BF.exe"-File into the desk.

Greetings

Uli

Hi Uli,

Yes, copy the ZerOS OS Creator USB executable file onto the root of a USB stick, and then plug into the console. Tap SETUP -> Load File, choose the software update, and the install will begin.

Any queries let me know.
