Tapani Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 HelloIf I install Z Remote on iOS11, I have the problem that in "Command Syntax" mode the display is not correct. The numeric keypad appears only halfway. Does anyone know what that could be? Quote
Edward Z88 Posted March 1, 2018 Report Posted March 1, 2018 Hi Tapani, This is a known issue on FLX S consoles, and is due to be fixed in the next release of ZerOS, coming within the next few weeks. If you turn your iPhone landscape, and then connect to the console, you should find it displays correctly. Any queries let me know. Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
petrven Posted April 4, 2019 Report Posted April 4, 2019 hi, I suddenly got a similar problem, ORB XF, Remote on iPhone 5c. The app (worked fine, no updates done) now starts in absurd zoom 3 buttons visible and not reacting to anything. can there be something to help? thank you petr Quote
Edward Z88 Posted April 4, 2019 Report Posted April 4, 2019 Hi Petr, What software are you running on your ORB XF? You can find out by tapping "Other Windows", top left of the Output Window, and from the drop down choose System Information. Under the Desk Info tab will be a line displaying "Software Version". ZerOS 7.9.4 is the latest release software for ORB XF. The latest ZerOS Remote App version, as displayed in the app "About" page, is v4.2.7.14 for iOS. This is known to be compatible with ZerOS 7.9.4. Hope this helps, Edward Quote Edward Smith Product Specialist Email Support
petrven Posted April 4, 2019 Report Posted April 4, 2019 hi Edward, thanks for your swift answer, the App is 4.2.7.14, oops, however the Orb is 7.8.1 so sorry, I do need to upgrade. The show's on now, can I let you know later if the issue's stil there with 7.9.4 ? Many thanks Petr Quote
Edward Z88 Posted April 4, 2019 Report Posted April 4, 2019 Hi Petr, Yes a software update will be required. After installing the new software, I would recommend you leave plenty of time to get used to the console before a live show. ZerOS 7.8.1 is quite out of date, and so there are some quite big changes in the new software. These are detailed here... http://support.zero88.com/Legacy-products/Legacy-Consoles/Legacy-ZerOS/ORB-XF/988876801/Changes-to-operation-of-ORB-Series-consoles-within-ZerOS-7-9-2-and-later.htm There is also more information in the ZerOS 7.9.4 release notes, which are available along with the ZerOS 7.9.4 software download here... https://zero88.com/forum/files/file/17-zeros-794/ If you have any queries please do let us know. petrven Posted June 18, 2019 Report Posted June 18, 2019 Hi Edward, sorry, the season's been over-busy, got to the upgrade just now. Remote and Monitor working perfectly. 7.9.4 looks great, getting used to it. Just missing the possibility to change Home fixture values in setup. I'm searching the forum first, if nothing there, looks like I will bother you later. thanks again Petr Quote
Edward Z88 Posted June 18, 2019 Report Posted June 18, 2019 Hi Petr, Great, glad to hear you have performed the software update. ZerOS 7.9.5 is now the latest release of ZerOS, released on May 17th 2019. As updating software from ZerOS 7.9.4 to 7.9.5 is easy, I would recommend doing this to keep your ORB XF up to date. ZerOS 7.9.5 is available to download from our website here... Once you have downloaded the software, simply unzip/extract the folder, and then copy the “ZerOS 7.9.5 USB OS Creator.exe” to the root of a USB stick. You can then plug the USB into your ORB XF, tap SETUP, choose Load File from the screen, and then click the software update to load in. The console will warn you your show file will be lost, and you can then proceed. For editing Home values, please see the guide below... http://support.zero88.com/1011411491 Hope this helps, let me know if you have any queries.
