Unexplained option in setup -> System settings -> Page Holdover if Active

Can someone explain what the option "Page Holdover if active" does when it's enabled?

I found nothing about it in the manual and forum.

I think it means that if a playback is active (MFF is up), then if you change playbacks page, that MFF continues to function as per the original playback page. When you release that playback, the MFF will then move to relate to the current page.

Hi Kevin,

This sounds reasonable to me. Another great possibility if your correct, but in my opinion this then should be an option in the MFF playback setup to have this as a "per fader decission".

Kevin's correct, this changes what happens to active (triggered) Playbacks when you change page.

The "per-playback" option is "Page Lock" which affects a Playback whether it's active or released.
