mitranator
Hi guys, I am using an Orb XF in a school environment and I really need to find a show controller software that will work with the Orb. I need timeline drag and drop audio and photo/video facilities and obviously record-playback over the board. Secondly it needs to be user friendly, it will be intended to be use also by students. There are so many over there but I was wondering if anybody have worked already with something similar. Thank you very much for your feedback. Edward Z88
Hi Dan, We recommend QLab from Figure53: https://figure53.com/qlab/ QLab can run audio and video, and can also send MIDI triggers to the ORB XF console. You would therefore program on the ORB XF, then to run the show you would put in MIDI cues into QLab, and then can run lighting, audio and video from your Mac. If you don't have a Mac, a piece of software for windows called "Mulitplay" is also popular. pierotec
Hi, qlab is very good with timecode you can command the show in ZerOs console. It would have even good to have in ZerOS the midi notes function or midi show control and have even the midi out on the console for trigger the qlab. P. Edward Z88
Hi Pierotec, ZerOS consoles will accept MIDI timecode input to trigger any cue stack, and MIDI Show Control to trigger the Master Playback (Playback 0).
