Group Fixtures, Whats the deal

Been doinf some reading up in the manual and its says;

 

Press and hold the group button, F4 on the Fat Frog

Now whats with this because I can't remember but I think desks I have used before have had the group button- so why do we have to press F4? On the Phantom the group button is there but it doesn't work??

 

I'm confused 8O

The Fat Frog doesn't have a group button, since with just 12 fixtures, you don't really need groups. When along came the Bullfrog with 24 fixtures, a group button was added. To stop Fat Frog users getting too jealous, we made the F4 button on the Fat Frog act as the group button.

 

The bogus group button floating in the Phantom Frog (Fat Frog) shouldn't really be there and is on the list to be disappeared in a future update.

[K-Nine]

The Leap Frog (24 fixtures) and Mambo Frog (96 fixtures) also have a Group button.
