Focus a Mac 250 with a fat frog...

Hi

Need a speedy reply if poss.

I've hired a Fat Frog and are controlling some Mac250s with it. How do you focus these fixtures with the desk? I had a play today with the four buttons (brightness, colour etc) but cannot see a focus setting.

It's probably really obvious, but I don't really have time to explore!!

Please help!

Jaime,

Select the Ftixtures you want, then press Beam Shape in the Fixture Control area then press Wheel Group next to the first finger wheel until you see focus as an option on the Fixtures LCD,

Hope this helps,

assume you can access the prism effects settings that way too?

Yes indeed you can,

Just for information;

BRIGHTNES

Wheel Group One- Dimmer

COLOUR

Wheel Group One- Colour

BEAMSHAPE

Wheel Group One- GoboRot--Sh/Res--GoboSe1

Wheel Group Two- FX Speed--Focus--Prism

POSITION

Wheel Group One- Pan--Tilt--MovSpeed

Wheel Group Two- Effects--Size X--Size Y

Wheel Group Three- Offset (%)--Rotn--Speed.

You can always tell if there is more than one wheel group because the wheel group buttons LED will be illuminated.

Hope this helps,

Sam

Sam has summarised it quite nicely :)

If there are more parameters for a particular attribute than will fit into one wheel group, the LED in the Wheel Group button will be lit.

Pressing the Wheel Group Button will cycle through the wheel groups and the corresponding fixture parameters will be displayed on the Wheel LCD.
