Phantom - Art Net

Hi All (Specifically Jon as I know he likes these products)

 

I recently got a new laptop (macbook pro) and wondered how I would best use phantom zeros to transmit data over art net?

 

Any advice/help?

Hi James,

 

You're going to have a few issues here.

 

1) Phantom ZerOS is currently only designed on run on Windows. I've had varying success using WineBottler to run Phantom ZerOS on my mac, but it's 3rd party software - so you run that at your own risk.

 

2) Phantom ZerOS doesn't output Art-Net natively (otherwise we wouldn't sell any consoles!). You need to purchase an unlock dongle, which plugs into USB. I've never tested this with WineBottler on Mac, but I'm pretty confident that it wouldn't work.
