JB97
Hi, I've been looking at the FLX training videos and I didn't notice a mention of a VGA port, is there one of the FLX that can be used for non-touch screens, or do I have to use a DVI connection? Cheers, James
kgallen
You have to use an *active* DVI-D to VGA converter. The desk doesn't give analogue outputs on the DVI pins (it's DVI-D not DVI-A) so you can't just use a connector style converter. Jon Hole
DVI-D is, kind of, a more modern digital version of VGA (that said, DVI's still not particularly modern but that was a deliberate choice during the development process!). Touch Screens require a second cable (USB) for the touch element. So you can have VGA Touch Screens or DVI Touch Screens. So, in short, no there's not VGA on the FLX - but DVI can be used for non-touch screens too.
