hitwave Posted December 14, 2015 Report Posted December 14, 2015 Hi, I just wondered if anyone could do me a Jester fixture file for the Chauvet Beamshot in 4-channel mode? I'm without access to a PC at the moment so I don't have the chance to make one. Manual attached. Thanks so much, Alex Quote
kgallen Posted December 14, 2015 Report Posted December 14, 2015 Hitwave, can you post a link to the manual. I'll have a look, but probably won't be today... Quote
hitwave Posted December 14, 2015 Author Report Posted December 14, 2015 Ah not sure why it didn't attach. Manual is here: http://www.chauvetlighting.co.uk/products/manuals/BEAMshot_UM_Rev1_WO.pdf Thanks so much! Alex Quote
JB97 Posted December 14, 2015 Report Posted December 14, 2015 Kevin, I can try to give it a go today. James Quote
kgallen Posted December 14, 2015 Report Posted December 14, 2015 Give this a go. This one was pretty straightforward, you should have a go yourself. Download the Fixture Editor: http://zero88.com/support/index.php?/de/Knowledgebase/Article/View/49/0/zero-88-fixture-tools---version-26 [Jon - the Fixture Editor software is ridiculously hard to find on the website - can you link it from other software and fixture pages?] (Thanks, JB, it was short and sweet this one, so didn't take long - but have a go too, it's good practice!) hitwave Posted December 14, 2015 Author Report Posted December 14, 2015 Hi Kevin, Thanks so much - issue is that I have a new Mac and haven't had a chance to set up Bootcamp/Parallels to run Windows yet so access to the Fixture Editor is a little difficult at the moment. Alex Quote
kgallen Posted December 14, 2015 Report Posted December 14, 2015 OK, you're excused ;-) Have fun! Quote
Jon Hole Posted December 14, 2015 Report Posted December 14, 2015 Thanks Kevin. I've made a slight update - I've changed the default value for the Dimmer channel to 100% (255). Although this sounds slightly strange, this is the only channel that's different for "default" and "home", so although in the fixture library it says "default value" what it actually means is "home value" - in the desk software we force Dimmer to be 0% by "default". kgallen Posted December 14, 2015 Report Posted December 14, 2015 Oops sorry my mistake - doing it in a rush in my lunch! Thanks Jon. Kev Quote
