Zeros Software 7.8.2 Released Stopped My iiyama ProLite T1531SR

Hi Guys,

I was so excited to get my first touchscreen today. I purchased the iiyama Pro Lite T1531SR from your list of recommended touchscreens as I didn't want to risk getting anything not tested. I had just used it on software version 7.6.0 and it worked a dream. Sadly after sucessfully installing 7.8.2 the screen wont now work???

HELP!!!

Regards

Leighton

Hi Leighton,

There are two possible issues here. Have you recalibrated your touchscreen? When you update the software you'll need to redo that.

If you are trying that and it's still not working, over the last week or two we are hearing that Iiyama have potentially changed a component in their Txx31R range which doesn't appear to be currently supported in ZerOS (which is frustrating, as the model number of the touch screens haven't changed, so there's no way to identify which ones are which). We are in discussion with Iiyama about this problem, and we're also working on updating the touch screen drivers in ZerOS to try and solve this from our end too.

Good morning Jon,

Thanks for your quick reply.

Strange it was working fine on 7.6.0 and not after after successfully installing 7.8.2? Anyway, I've tried to Calibrate the monitor and either nothing happens and you have to click enter to cancel or the first calibration square turns orange when you touch it and then nothing happens???

I'm so frustrated as I was so careful to make sure that we ordered a recommended screen and we have our very first delivery of intelligent fixture being delivered within the next few days which is the whole reason for buying this monitor.

I did try looking for the function to record inputs but it's not where it used to be and couldn't find it?

I know your currently looking into it but a speedy solution would be appreciated Jon.

Thank you

Leighton

hello

a friend of mine had this same strange issue

his iiyama ProLite T1731SR-B1 worked fine for about 3 months; one day this summer (and without upgrading anything !!) he had an issue (touch functionality won't work anymore)... okey , he bought a new touch-screen (exactly the same) but it didn't work neither...!

frustated he sent the whole stuff back to the seller (Solution desk and touchscreen under guaranty)

they tested and confirmed that the thing does not work but sent the stuff back to my friend without fixing it, pretending that the touchscreen is not compatible => no guaranty, no fix !!

but : what about this topic => click ?? the Zero-Team uses exactly this same touchscreen !!!!

The Zero 88 team use Iiyama Prolite T1731SR monitors for demos, training and shows, and so far we’ve had no problems with these.

(and what about the fact that the first touchscreen worked fine before ?? (nobody changed any component in it !! nobody changed the software in the console !! the thing just stopped working from one day to the other !)

last week we had a show together (with my friend) and we used my own touchscreen (exactly the same : iiyama ProLite T1731SR-B1) on his console !

my touchscreen works fine on his console... so what is this funny issue ??

(I couldn't try yet with the other touchscreens of my friend on my own console, but we will do that one of these days)
