DavidLawrence54 Posted September 9, 2015 Report Posted September 9, 2015 I have recently bought the Jester ML and upgraded the firmware to 4.1, however, the LCD 3 screen is not displaying anything, and only has the backlight on. I feel sure is was working before the upgrade? I have tried adjusting the contrast etc but no luck. Does anyone have a suggestion how to fix it, or does it need to go off for repair and if so how much will it cost? Quote
Jon Hole Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 Hi David, Have you tried going into SETUP, <LCD Bias Conf> and changing the settings between <Low> and <High>? Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
DavidLawrence54 Posted September 10, 2015 Author Report Posted September 10, 2015 Hi Jon, Yes it seems to adjust between background and foreground, but on screen 3 there is no foreground at all, just back light. Quote
Jon Hole Posted September 10, 2015 Report Posted September 10, 2015 This sounds like a hardware issue in that case. We can try two software things first: - Try resetting the console completely - Try installing old software to see if this solves the problem (I highly doubt it will, but please let me know which version you were using previously and I'll send it across) Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
DavidLawrence54 Posted September 11, 2015 Author Report Posted September 11, 2015 Hi Jon, I tried the complete reset through the setup menu, not sure if there is another way? As for the previous version, Sorry I am not sure what version was in there before. :-( Quote
Jon Hole Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Hi David, Just to confirm, by "LCD 3", are we talking about the one above the wheels? Do you see vertical lines splitting it up into "smaller displays", or is it completely blank? Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
DavidLawrence54 Posted September 11, 2015 Author Report Posted September 11, 2015 Hi Jon, It's completely blank, only the backlight is working! Quote
KWR88 Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Hi David, As Jon has said it is looking like a hardware fault. Would need to see the desk to be able to confirm 100%. PM on the address below to discuss the options we have on this. Quote Regards, Keith Rogers Zero 88 Support: support@zero88.com
