nappaoh
Hi. I'm trying to upgrade from 7.8.0 to 7.8.2 version. I follow pdf instructions but, when I plug my Zero88 drive and turn Solution on, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks. Jon Hole
Hi Nappaoh, What do you mean "nothing"? The Solution doesn't turn on at all? It turns on but has an error message? Or it just turns on like normal? Are you an administrator of the computer you used to installed the software onto the USB stick? nappaoh
Hi Jon. It means that Solutions turns on and a message on the lcd screen says "loading... pleas wait" but upgrade does not start. I've formatted and installed software as administrator of my pc. nappaoh
I used the zero 88 default stick. Maybe the problem is that I'm using a Windows 8.1 OS to set my memory stick?
Jon Hole
I used the zero 88 default stick. Maybe the problem is that I'm using a Windows 8.1 OS to set my memory stick? I think you'll find this is the problem. The only other thing I can suggest is trying this: http://zero88.com/support/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/489/ But you'll probably need to find a computer running Windows XP / 7 Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
nappaoh
Ok. I'll try with XP. I'll send you a report if everything goes fine!
nappaoh
I've tried with XP. The problem remains. Abou your suggest, Jon is for "not branded stick" but I'm using the branded one. So I don't know what could be the mistake. The process I'm doing is: 1- Unzip the Zeros Software file 2- Run Zeros Os installer usb exe 3- Follow instructions by the application 4- Plug the Zero88 stick in the usb Solution port (the one closest to the ethernet port) 5- Turn on Solution
nappaoh
Made another try and ... it works!!!! Just formatted two times my stick before doing the upgrade. Windows XP/7/8.1 does not matters. Thank you very much for your help.
Jon Hole
HI Nappaoh, Glad you got it working. Yes, we say "unbranded" stick, but that advice is also valid for Zero 88 USB sticks if people have formatted it via Windows etc in the past. Did you try it on Windows 8.1 and it worked? Thanks Jon Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control

Thanks Jon Yes I tried with Windows 8.1 and it works. Just seems that 7.8.2 is a little slower in first load then 7.8.0 Thank you Jon. Hope we'll meet in Italy!!!
