Hi there.

When using Robe Colourwash 250ATs with a zero88 Leapfrog board, an on screen colour picker can be used (found by hitting SHIFT and COLOUR on the control board and clicking 'Picker'). However this doesnt work/isnt accessable with the ColourSpots. Do you know why? Is it just down to the fixtures?

Also, our Spots don't load with the pre-programmed colour/effect pallettes like our washes do. They display the pallettes on the MFKs but list them as 'Unavailable' (without the red light). Again, any help as to why this might be?

Any help would be much appreciated,

Hi,

Which Robe ColorSpot do you have? The 250AT and 575AT only have a colour wheel, not colour mixing, which is why the colour picker won't work.

The same applies for the palettes that you have - the CMY palettes will only be available to fixtures with CMY or RGB colour mixing. Have you gone into SETUP, clicked "Auto Menus" and "Create Auto Palettes" after patching the spot fixtures? This should create some palettes of the fixed colours on the colour wheel - let me know if it doesn't and I can send you an updated fixture profile.

Ah ok thanks, that solves the colour palette issue. However, the spots dont display the efects palettes as the washes do, ie. circle, figure 8 etc. Once again the screen displays them but as blank data.

I do remember doing the 'Creat Auto Palettes' process, but will repeat it again just to be sure, unless there is another explaination??

Thanks

I'm pretty sure that's going to be the problem, but I'm willing to be proven wrong!

Give it a go, and let us know what happens!
