TSL.nl
Hello! I'm working with my leapfrog 48 and I have a difficult problem. I'm working with RGB LEDs, and have programmed RED under sub master 1, and blue under submaster 2. Now when 1 is active and I fade in 2 it snaps to blue. It doesn't mix to pink. Why is this ??? And when I have colour fade on e.g. 3 seconds, and I fade red in. It starts on white and slowly becomes red. Then with submaster 2 it fades to pink and after 3 seconds to blue. Can I make it blend ?? Because that's something I really need.. Please let me know ASAP! Best regards, Jimmi Quote Leap'ing 48 steps forward
mikeb
Hi Jimmi Are your LEDs set as fixtures or dimmers? Sounds like fixtures from what you describe so... It sounds like your console has the "Keep Colour Parameters Separate" in the settings set to "Yes"? If you go into "Setup" then "Desk Setup", "Behaviour" tab then you can see what your desk is set to. If you change this setting to "No" then record just the colour changes you want then you should be able to mix RGB colours. The console only records changes, so to unselect a colour parameter, select and hold the "Clear" MFK then move the wheel associated to the colour you don't want to record then release the "Clear" MFK - be careful not to press the "Clear" MFK twice as this releases all the changes. Also, the Submaster needs to be set correctly too - against the Submaster for your colour, set "Submaster Control" to Colour and set "Colour Fade" to 0. It would be worth checking that against the fixture, the default colours are all set to 0 too. Hope this makes sense. Regards Mike

TSL.nl
Thank you guys ! This is realy helpfull for future use! Yes mike I am using them as fixtures. I found out the led fixtures were set as CMY, so that caused the problem. Patched the channels to dimmer faders and that's how I fixed it at the set. I now know you can untag a certain parameters e.g. when programming a pan tilt fixture and you want pan and tilt on separate submasters, I had the problem that tilt was activated with it. So it stopped panning when I use my submaster set to tilt. I'll look in to my desk settings later and reply here again. mikeb
Jimmi See this link for CMY or RGB on the console... http://zero88.com/forum/topic/5288-colour-edit-mode-cmy-or-rgb/ Regards Mike
TSL.nl
Thanks for the link Mike. I have edited my led par fixtures so the parameters start at 0. I like the CMY when working with RGB moving heads so they start on white. Regards, Jimmi Quote Leap'ing 48 steps forward
