Nodmoz Posted October 14, 2014 Report Posted October 14, 2014 Evening all, I'm looking to buy a new desk, it doesn't need to be all singing all dancing, but it DOES need to have a numeric keypad. I see the TLXTRA has this, but as budget is very limited, I wondered if it were possible to use the numeric pad on a USB keyboard for this function on a lesser desk. I suspect the answer is no, but it'd silly not to at least ask. Cheers, Andy Quote
Jon Hole Posted October 20, 2014 Report Posted October 20, 2014 Hi Andy, No, unfortunately a keypad won't work on any of the Jesters apart from TL and TL Xtra. Jon Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
barefootcoder Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 Hi Zero guys Can the jester 24/48 accept a regular usb keyboard to help labels etc? thanx Quote pj eMail address Sound and Light Guy Zero88 Jester 48 Multiplay Sound-Cueing Software
Jon Hole Posted January 2, 2015 Report Posted January 2, 2015 When you go into Super User mode (hold SHIFT + MODE together), the main LCD will show you the Serial Number, the Software Version and either "r1" or "r2". This is the hardware revision. If it says r2, an external keyboard should work fine for labelling. If it says r1, it probably won't. Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
