TSL.nl Posted May 9, 2014 Report Posted May 9, 2014 Hello again. We have recieved some new fixtures from showtec but they are not on the list. I am struggling my self to create them in the fixture editor, so here I am asking for your help. It is quite a task but I hope you can manage to make them, I need them before the 24th of May. Showtec tracker Q4 41388, this fixture has 6 different channel modes up to 44 channels. Showtec medium studio beam tour Q4 4 in 1 LED 42487 Compact Par 7 Tri MKII 42595 And the Spectral 260 RGB ( I asked about this in an other topic, which I didn't see your reply to Mike, I'm sorry http://zero88.com/forum/topic/6714-showtec-fixtures/#entry26390, and its manual http://imgur.com/a/utE2Y these are pictures) It would be nice to see them added to the fixture list! Thank you in advance. Best Regards, Jimmi Quote Leap'ing 48 steps forward

TSL.nl Posted May 16, 2014 Author Report Posted May 16, 2014 Thanks Mike! But when I try to import the files to my table it says "invalid gft file" do I need to rename it? Or can I add them to the gft26_00 which you guys release? I have forgotten how I do this, its been a while since I worked with the Frog. Regards, Jimmi EDIT: It worked, I am quite blind sometimes. I totally didn't see the "add user fixtures" Quote Leap'ing 48 steps forward
TSL.nl Posted May 16, 2014 Author Report Posted May 16, 2014 Hi Mike, All works fine. Only the colour mixing is in CYM, every colour is lit when its on 0. That's not really a problem, I don't mind it. But can I change that to RGB if I wanted to? When I look in the fixture editor it says Red, Green & Blue so that is confusing to me. mikeb Posted May 16, 2014 Report Posted May 16, 2014 Hi Jimmi I can see what you mean. If you have configured and selected an RGB fixture and press the Colour MFK, the LCD display shows CYM and not RGB. This is a "feature" of the desk and I haven't seen anywhere in the manual if this can be changed, so may be a new feature request to be able to switch between different display modes. Traditional movers tend to have fixed colour wheels or CMY wheels so is likely to be an interesting discussion. The saving grace is that with a monitor attached, displaying the Colour Palettes and then selecting the Fader button shows RGB, CMY and HSV. Regards Mike Quote
TSL.nl Posted May 16, 2014 Author Report Posted May 16, 2014 Hi Mike I'll look in to that. But I think you can't change it, because when I loaded the "Expression 5000" fixture from the gft26_00 file the colours were displayed as RGB. But after the latest update that too is displayed as CMY on the LCD. Regards, Jimmi Quote Leap'ing 48 steps forward
Jon Hole Posted May 21, 2014 Report Posted May 21, 2014 Hi All, If you hold down SETUP and COLOUR together, you'll get a window with a "Colour Edit Mode" setting. Here you can choose the Colour Space you wish to use globally across the console - either RGB or CMY. This means you don't have to keep switching between CMY and RGB if you have both styles of fixtures in your rig. Best regards Jon Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
