Mac 500 Lamp On Macro

Hiya,

for some reason I'm having trouble persuading some mac 500's to lamp on from the desk without using the parameter wheel. I've tried entering both the dmx value of the lamp on command (BEAM 230) and also the percentage value (BEAM 90) to no effect.

I want to create a macro to lamp them on to make the process speedy and precise (something which the parameter wheel is not).

What am I doing wrong?

can you explain the exact procedure, because i also don't have macro to Lamp on for Mac 550.

Hello,

To Lamp On the Mac 550, select the fixture, and tap "Beam" to go to the Beam controls. Then dial the "Shutter, Strobe, Control" parameter until you reach "Lamp On". If you are on a FLX range console, you can tap the middle encoder button of the "Shutter, Strobe, Control" parameter, and then choose "Lamp On" from the touchscreen. If you wish you can then record a Beam palette, to give you a shortcut to the Lamp On command.

Thks for your help. I'm on LeapFrog 48.

Ok to record on beam palette, but it's not possible on macro ?

To be honest, I had the command in my macros, but I don't know why, it disappeared ?

It is possible to record a macro of the fixture being selected, the custom beam palette being applied, and then the fixture being sent back to defaults again. You can then use this macro which will select and Lamp On your fixture.

The fixture macro for Lamp On for these particular fixtures is no longer included in the recent ZerOS Libraries.

Ok, but the procedure is to wait 5 seconds on LAMP ON for it to light up. How to proceed with the shortcut?

Before the macro disappeared, the procedure was simple, I selected the fixture and press"LAMP ON". I'm sorry but I don't understand how to create the macro?

Fixture macros cannot be created. These are included in the Fixture Library, and are generated upon pressing "Automatically Create Macros" after patching your fixtures. If you wish to access the original version of the Mac 550 with the Lamp On macro, please see the fixture file below...
