archie Posted April 3, 2013 Report Posted April 3, 2013 Hi, is it possible to use the jester to send out midi data in to a laptop and then from the laptop to control DMX lighting software? The reason I ask is that I am wanting to program virtual faders for my LED lights and this isn't possible on the Jester. Basically, I would like to have a fader for each fixture and then I can switch to different colour palettes for different songs. Currently I use the submasters, swapping to a different group of 6 for different songs, but I have run out of banks. thankyou Quote

Jon Hole Posted January 1, 2015 Report Posted January 1, 2015 Wikipedia has some information about MIDI Show Control, and there's a link to a slightly old (but still mostly valid) version of the full specification in the "external links" section at the bottom of the page: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIDI_Show_Control Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
