Software/Firmware Update Linebacker

Hi there,

 

I bought a used Linebacker in good condition these days. It arrived on monday and I´ve been testing yesterday. It works very well but I missed one feature that is shown in the manual.

In the menu under "TEST DMX" I have only 3 options which are "TEST INPUT / OUTPUT DMX/ TEST CABLE" but I miss "OUTPUT CHANNELS".

So my only possibility to output single DMX channels is to programm a memory. That´s working very well but it´s annoying.

 

So, the Linebacker says it´s working with software version 1.25 but my manual is for 1.8.

about updating software.

 

My problem is I´m not able programming EPROM. Is there any other way getting the device updatet?

Maybe by getting an EPROM with new software (and installation instruction) directly from ZERO88?

 

I´ll be greatfull for any help.

Unfortunately we no longer have the ability to burn EPROM’s in house.

We can provide the HEX file if you are able to locate any one who can burn them.
