Display Output Window & Memories Window on one screen

I have a Leapfrog 96 USB, running OS version 7.2

 

when I reset the desk I get the Output and Memories window on one screen one above the other, which is really useful. The issue is that once I close them I can't get this configuration back, they just open full screen.

 

Is it possible to open them one above the other or will my desk not do that?

When you open a Window, you can press 'Special' and then you get 'Select', 'Close', and 'Size' on the MultiFunction Keys. Use 'size' to change the size and location of the window (press it several times and it will cycle through the options).
