broken fader or PCB? Or just dirt?

Hi

 

I bought cheap 2nd hand Jester 12/24 couple of months ago. Now I noticed that one submaster fader has contact problems. When fader is pushed down - not to zero but towards PCB - it flashes to 100%.

 

What do you think - is it broken fader, PCB or just dirt? Troubled fader is Submaster 8.

 

Anyone had similar problems?

That sounds like a damaged fader. You could try a small amount of switch cleaner in the fader and run it up and down a few times but I would look at replaceing this.
