Cannot get any RS232 communication working with Chili Node + Crestron + Chili Dimmers

Hope your new year is going well! Just having an issue an installation we just did out in Munich with a few 24 channel chili dimmers and a chili rs232 node. Trying to control the dimmers from the Crestron AV2 processor hooked up through an RS232 to the Chili RS232 node to the RJ 12 to the RJ12 on the chilli dimmer and I cant get any messages back or affect the dimmers at all.. Im @ 9800, 8, 1, n and have the chilinet enabled and dimmer no.s correct.. not sure what to do. Any assistance is appreciated!

Hi there,

I'm having the same problems.

I'm Using an AMX NI-3000 with a Chili PRO 12-10i + RCD.

Connected my chilinetwork as following:

 

Dimmer (120 Ohm)> RJ12 > RS232 Node > RJ12 > Chili control panel 7 Button > 120 Ohm

 

When i push a button on the control panel the dimmer recalls the Memory. But when i send a command over the AMX,

I get none RX back and nothing happens on the Dimmer.

 

The green LED on the NODE flashes, The Red LED does not light up at all.

 

What is the problem, i'm trying for more then a week now to get it to work....
