ferg Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Hi there I am having an issue with our Leapfrog 96, the desk keeps reseting its clock to 1st Jan 2006 and 00:00:00 hrs. on start up. The battery has been changed and the issue remains... I am also having an issue when clearing fixtures and dmx patch in set up, where the desk crashes every time, deleting a whole show is no problem it only seems to be when clearing memories and patch info. I am running OS 7.2 Thanks in advance Ferg Quote
Kirkup_xp Posted October 17, 2011 Report Posted October 17, 2011 Hi Ferg Do you get a notification about the NVR tests when you restart the desk? Can you let me know the BIOS version reported in Desk Information (SETUP/FILES) We should be able to work out from there what is going on. Quote Peter Kirkup
ferg Posted October 18, 2011 Author Report Posted October 18, 2011 Thanks for the response Peter. I went into check it out today No NVR indication at start up (I noticed it said "NVR Retention check OK" as it booted up) Bios version is MLX8016 Cheers Ferg Quote

Jon Hole Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 Hi ferg, Peter who was dealing with your issue is out of the office this week I'm afraid, sorry. I have passed this onto our software and service teams to see if they can help. When you set the time, does the clock count up as you would expect, or does it stay on the time you set? Thanks, Quote Jon Hole Global Product Manager, Systems and Control
KWR88 Posted November 3, 2011 Report Posted November 3, 2011 Hi Ferg, Could you pm me on the address below with the desk serial number. I think the issue you are seeing is to do with the connection of the battery to the device that generates the clock for the unit. this may be somethign as stupid as a loose screw but it will be quicker to do it off forum.
