Aeito Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Hey guys, I got a Line Backer really cheap some years ago, but it is not working. I replaced allready all IC, the battery, overtone controlled oscillator, but same error appiers (I didn´t replace the "RAM 32K" and "Eprom" and the IC "74HC02"). The display shows just 2 black bars. The line backers was working a little bit 2 years ago, it was possible to control round about half of the DMX chanels. When I tried to control a chanel over approx 250 the line backer crashed. Anybody know´s what can I do to revive the line backer. Could it be the firmware, so i have to flash an new one on the Eprom, or will it be the CPU, which is dead? The Firmware must be from year 1996, so it will be a really old one!!! Thanks for your help!!! Quote
