StephenD Posted February 16, 2011 Report Posted February 16, 2011 Hi All, I've recently inherited an ID 12 dimmer rack. It was working fine for a day or two but now I'm getting a message at startup along the lines of - 'Full System Overheat - Dimmer Shutting Down' This message will flash constantly and although I can navigate the menu with it flashing on top - It's not processing DMX anymore either. The Dimmer is not warm at all, under next to no load and is in a well ventilated area... so it couldn't possibly be overheating because of its environment. Am I looking at possibly a power problem or maybe a malfunctioning sensor? Or is it simply a software thing? I've restored reset and cleared the dimmer so it should be back to its factory settings. In the super user menu, disable the temperature sensor warnings will restore the dimmer back to full operation. The warning and limitations will come straight back when its re enabled.
